What with all the controversy over the next Acura NSX going front-engined, here’s a courageous alternative proposal from the fertile designers and stylists working at NAT’s (Nihon Automotive College).
Behold, an early ’90s Honda Beat reworked with what’s claimed to be original head and taillights from a real NSX. The big thing here, say NAT’s, is that both the Beat and NSX were mid-engined two-seaters (although the Beat had only three cylinders and 660 cc, remember) so in a way, this purist engineering creed carries over. Watch out: though the crew at NAT’s say that while the MiniSX is a concept, it will “probably be made….”
