Help needed:help:

Beat has broken down,:(

It was running fine then 2nite it just koncked out.
Came to a stop the yellow engine light came on then went off again.
Electrics seem ok but there is no smell of fuel at all .Fuel pump???

You need to work out what is working and what isn't so you can find the source.

Three basics to the engine, air, fuel, spark. Check there's no block in the air intake, that the fuel is getting through, and that there is a spark.

Any of the above missing and then you can work with that area to find out why.

Firstly I'd check your distributer though, take the cap off, see if there's any moisture inside the cap.

1st thing to check is does the fuel pump hum for a few seconds when you turn on the ignition??? (alarm imobiliser / fuel pump relay problem)

Then check ALL the fuses... Both in the drivers footwell & near the battery in the boot.

Then as WL said, it's time to opwn the engine cover and check the basics of spark plugs / leads & distributor cap.

Have a go at that little lot and let us know how you get on.

Hi All

Fuses,relays and alarm all working fine.
getting a spark at plugs but have lost ign light and seat belt light and handbrake light:confused:
Will turn over but will not start.
Anyway booked in with Honda now,let them play
Ive no garage and it a bit nippy out there today:)

Will let you no the out come incase it happens to one of your Beats.
