As suggested, I think it would be useful to a lot of our over seas friend if we could start keeping a record of part numbers.

If someone has 40.8 Mb of web space to host the complete parts listing, then every one will have access to all part numbers.

Anyone??? Paul W ???

hi paul
we could help out with hosting too if needs be. we have quite a bit of bandwidth so would be happy to have it on the server if we could password it or something. it would be a great thing to have available to people.

Are there any UK based websites out there where you can search a database for Honda Parts?

There are a few in the USA, but none of them recognize any Beat part numbers. I figure if UK dealers carry / can get a hold of Beat parts, they might have an accessible database. I talked to a friend who runs a parts counter at a local Honda dealership and they were unable to find any Beat parts by part number.

Here are some of the websites I am talking about:

Honda Automotive Parts (http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/auto/jsp/mws/PartsSearch.jsp)
Acura Automotive Parts (http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/)
The Honda E-Catalog (http://www.partspeis.com/login.jsp) (both ID and password is "hondapc")

The websites above are not Honda thou, they buy in bulk at cheaper prices and get discounts. They wouldn't have it on their database.

Maybe if you go back to source, as in the place where the dealers get their parts from and try them.

The way it works here is:

I go to my Honda Dealer
He goes to the main dealer from which all honda dealers get parts from for the whole country.

They go to Belgium (Honda Europe)

Who if they don't have it go to Honda Japan

I'm looking for the part number for the screw theaded snaps that that hold the soft top at the rear. They also are helpfull in snapping the tonnau cover for the soft top in place.
I've looked in the parts manual but can seem to find them? Are they still available from Honda?

Thanks

I'm new on here, so forgive me if this has been posted before...
I find this web page incredibly useful:
http://jp-carparts.com/index.php

I use it to look up parts for all of my JDM cars, including the Beat.

I've also bought parts from that site and am very happy with it. I had my parts delivered in 3days, from Jap to Cn. and very reasonable pricing. DHL did the shipping which was meh.
