The Honda Beat I am getting had a new exhaust put on it a while ago and they removed the catalytic converter but for some reason left the cat sensor connected so the light for that is now always on.
How can i stop the light from being on?

Do you mean the Orange engine light? or the Red Cat overheat light?

You can safely remove the bulb from the instrument cluster for that, the light will come on if the cat has been removed, this light shows cat deteriation and that the emissions are not what it was designed to be, well of course they are if the cat has been removed.

Hi Robin
I had the same problem and have simply removed the light as steve said. A friend of mine recently took the cat out of his 1992 civic, the chap that done dat for him earthed the cat wire off the body and that put the light out on his, maybe that might work for the beat too

I have a similar problem and would also like to remove the bulb - if any info could be provided on physically how to remove the bulb I'd appreciate it.
