Hi Folks
A while back I advertised that I would be casting some more seat belt brackets, but unfortunately at the time there the company that makes them were too busy to make them.
I now need to know who would like a pair. The price would be around £40-45 plus p&p.

please post below, personal message me or even email if you want a pair. They should come supplied with a choice of allen bolts or normal screw heads. Other bolts may be possible if required (anti tamper, torx etc)
once orders are in, I would expect to be able to deliver within 4 weeks of placing the order. I am hoping to cast 10 pairs, but if demand is higher, then the price comes down.
Adrian Pryke has had a prototype pair of these brackets fitted for a while now, and i'm sure he will point out any pro's or cons of fitting them. The brackets he recieved were not as highly polished as the new ones should be, due to some casting defects.
Pop your names below if you want some!

Pro's & Cons...
Difficult one that...
Pro's...
Look Good, Adds style to the interior, Stronger than the Plastic ones,
Cons...
My ones won't be as shiny as yours... :(
Fitting was a 5 minute job as they are a straight swap so couldn't be easier
OK, so you might still get the belt slip out of them when you get out like you do with the plastic ones but so what... Unless you come up with a different design then it's bound to happen...
So come on then, get those orders in so that Paul can get producing...
If enough people order them then I'm sure we can come up with other parts to replace with nice shiny ones as time goes by...
As far as I'm concerned, They are definitely worth the money, even more so if Paul gets enough orders to lower the cost even a little bit...
Adrian.

Hi Paul,
I would be interested in a pair as long as a newbie like me would be able to fit them  ?
Can you ship to the south of Ireland?
Let me know when you want my details etc.
Regards,
Dave
;)
OOps - I feel a bit silly now.
I've just had a look at my Beat and its fair to say that the installation will be idiot proof even for me :p !
Bring 'em on Paul!

Dave

I've dredged up a bit of an old post here I know, but I wondered whether any of these seat belt brackets were still available?
Noted while going round our Beat today that the passenger side original bracket is broken.

The plan was that you'd give 'em to me when I picked up Ade's old wheels from you....but in the end we didn't meet when I finally found the time to collect them from your old address.
No problem though, mark us down for a pair of the next batch (assuming there's enough takers to warrant having some done).
(And no thanks, we already have a Beat :p )
Andy.

These are the brackets you hook your seat belts into on the side of the seats near your head. you should have a set of dark grey plastic ones on each seat.
I meant what car! Didn't know that Steve had a Beat again - or did you never dispose of them both?

Nice to see you're still around, haven't seen you on here for a while.
Ady.
... just sorting things out.
I'm sorry to hear about the Beat but I understand your position. Shame you don't have somewhere to store it on blocks for a while - after all, it is very unique!
Look forward to seeing you, maybe at JAE?

I broke my plastic driver's side seat belt holder, so would like a replacement that is more robust. Best get one on each side.
Any chance we could get some more made up using the old moulds?
WhiteLeopard, are you still interested in a pair?

My Honda garage just tore off what was left of my slightly damaged plastic one during the MOT. They didn't fail the MOT on it, but then claimed that it was missing when they got it, so won't replace it, cheeky scoundrels. I don't want another bakelite Honda one though - please, please consider making some new ones, Paul W.
We have yet more new takers here too:
