Is it not possible to hard drive a Honda Beat then? I am confused. :suicide:

Oh it is! and they`ll happily take it. Problem is a lot of people dont seem to change their timing belt/check there distributors and water pumps often enough and pop theres goes the valves..

Or if the engine is running rich (also another problem) the vaves- particularly the exhaust ones, get coked up and can shatter.

Moral of the story if you look after your beat it will look after you, if not start saving for the repair bill cos your sitting on a time bomb.

I'm actually in there, wow!! This was taken at Twin Rings Motegi, they lined us up by color for a 1 lap parade during a Honda event there.... was a good day. In days of old they used to let us run the track on the day of the Meet The Beat as well, but for some insurance reasons that has stopped for the last 2 yrs...bit sad really. Thanks for that!

Hello there,

with regards to checking the timing belt, distributors and water pumps.... are there detailed instruction in how to do those checks? as I had my Beat for just over a year and I been inform that the timing belt has already been replaced.... how can i check if it has or not... and how to chekc the distributors and water pumps etc??? if anyone has pics of instruction that they can post up here is greatly appreciated... I want my Beat to look after me! :P Thanks
