Hard hood fabrick ???

Can any one remember the thread about putting some sort of oil on the origenal hood fabrick to make it softer?
mine has gone hard and is starting to crack.

Has any one tried to softern theirs?

Autoglym plastic conditioner does the trick, but may only be available in bulk to car dealers, not sure.

It also means you can slowly stretch the roof back to fit on to the front studs as well, once its more supple.

I may have some still at work, I will have a look.

Well I got it and done it .......will have to wait and see if it works.
it shines now !!!!!!! andsmells nice.
