I'm checking that myself, the one he has at auction with 7hrs to go is at 110000 yen...... but seems he makes them himself...

Great idea.. fitting a flat plastic is way easier than bending.. and also looks great (crx delsol look for me) :)
Someone but one and make some copies overhere ;)

I think its the best design I have ever seen with the exception of the grabage can lid he has for an engine cover, that would have to go, a nice stainless or aluminium cover would be the shot I think with some nicer fastening bolts...hmmmmm

The hard top looks fantastic, not sure about the rest of the car though hee hee

FYI the auction ended at 154000.
Yes the rest of the car is a bit of a mess I thought, not exactly sure where he wanted to go with that theme. Perhaps he was trying to make a look a like NSX, but I think he actually made it into a AZ, doh!
Cheers
Is that a Burberry trunk lid and can I see a solar panel on there?!

Jennifer,
I love my Beat but, well, I couldn't describe the top of the engine as pretty - just think how much cleaning you'd have to do to make it look good under a clear cover!

This is about as clean and tidy as I could get mine, when I rebuilt it.
I suppose a quality plastic panel with a good photo of the Ferrari engine might work ...!

the clear acrylic covers have been available on Japans Yahoo boards now for a while btw, saw a few at the B Hearty, you really have to be anal to do something like that was the thought that crossed my mind. lol

I want to know where the guy got the MTREC INSIDE sticker:

The MTREC INSIDE stickers everyone makes them for themselves. Know anyone with a Roland sticker cutter? or you can get the sticker paper from the computer store and print them, make sure its signmaker quality though as the elements take thier toll. Other variations I have seen are E07A inside as well....
Cheers
