Evening folks
While i was researching the Beat online, and waiting to buy mine, i found an entry in Wikipedia about it. It says that the design plan for the Beat originated at respected Italian design house Pininfarina. Honda bought it from those(mostly)stylish Italians, and eventually sold it to Rover, who used it for the MGF. The lineage between the Beat and the MGF is obvious, even if the Beat is a far better resolved piece of styling and engineering, but what of the Italians? Can anyone sustantiate the Wikipedia claim? Most of my posts have been concerned with things that don't work so well on my Beat, but don't get me wrong, it's an amazing car and i'm so glad i bought it. To be able to say it was designed by Pininfarina as well would be even better.
Regards
Marge
