Welcome to the home of refurb. I want to buy off you and old beat bits before you show them to the bin!!! Anything conisidered and most things can be repaired and re-sold to beat owners helping them keep their cars on the road. For example:
Broken Wing mirrors these can be fixed with fine engineering pins and straps!!!

ECU's so far we have managed to repair two units that were given up as broken!!! (remember keep um cool!!!!)

Distributors, starter motors can also be fixed!!!!

Let me know what you have got and we can se wether it can be saved.

How much are complete engines with loom ecu, anci etc also gearbox, wheels and possibly suspension worth??

All in working order engine is fine no mayo and runs very smooth.

I have a wing mirror... needs the metal inside replacing as it can't be welded, and the glass is pants.

But I reckon it would be cheaper to fix than replace with a new one

I would like to buy the wing mirror condition is not a problem!!!

As for complete engines a good used unit should fetch anywhere between 350 and 500 pounds without the ECU

Gear box better sold seperately at around 100 pounds as these are pretty bullet proof!!

Good Wheels about 200 with good tyres !!

I managed to get a new backbox for my exhaust at my local Honda dealer for around £100 (for the parts), so I don't think that there is problem getting hold of one (I did mine last November)

Best to buy exhaust froma dealer or get a custom made stainless steel, or do as I and buy a small jap slash box from Japan and have a small piece of pipe made up to connect looks good sounds good and is simple!!!

I was thinking of knocking out the innards of the catalytic converter at same time

Original part number is 18307-SS1-003 @ £369.04

This part is superseeded by 18307-SS1-013 @ £110

The later number is also the part number for later chassis range cars 1029810 onwards.
