Hi,

It's two at least for the Project A one. And you have to solder them in to two blank places. Got mine done a week ago with a friend. Works fine !

Which is for sale as it happens:D

You get 2 chips (along with a holder for one) and a peice of shorting wire, plus the instructions. At least you did.

yup its two

You get an eeprom (got a little window in it, covered sometimes by the sticker) and a small logic chip. You also get a holder for the eeprom so you dont risk trashing the chip while you solder it in.

Finally a bit of red wire to short the L1 connections.

thx for all the info, Here is the reason for my query

Due to unavailability of Project A chip I went alternative route to modify my ECU and asked local tuning company to help me with upgrade. Instead of just copying the chip we went trough some difficulties and modified Project A maps to accommodate for slightly lower octane petrol sold in Europe. We have fitted modified ECU to another Beat together with dataloging kit and going to do final Dyno run some time next week.

Aim was to have my own car modified but obviously there will be possibility of getting limited number of chips if required

wallace please keep me posted on this one. After sending all these chips to the UK, when it finally comes time for me wanting one, they're finished, life's like that though. SO, lets know if anything turns up with this

Oz,
I think that due to your contribution to ukhbc site and all the things that you have done for Beat owners (including me and my bro) i am willing to send this chip to you free of charge.
I should have them next week and will send you PM.

enjoy
