Right , spring is coming and summer will soon be here.... but my air con is still out of action......
I've been doing some research..... seem like the r12 is now banned, and everyone is saying that r134 and the convertion is the way to go... but i've been told that rs24 or iscceon 49 are drop-in replacements for r12 and no convertion is needed.....and that r134 has smaller moluculs, and is prone to leaks...
has anyone had the other gases instead?? i know the r24 gas is slightly dearer...
SO:
(1) Does any one know how much gas the system takes???
(2)Is a new reciever/dryer really needed???? and how much do they cost ???
