Need help and advise

Recently my car got the Check Light lit after starting up.. in fact I am having problem starting up the car most of the time now. Once start, the CHeck Light will be on but engine running smooth.. Anyone know what may be the problem??

I read about the Checking sequence, but where do I get a jumper cable to conduct the check?

Hi,

The cable is an easy bit, all you need is a short piece of thinish wire to bridge the 2 pins and you're away.

I have been thinking of getting the bits and making a few so people can have proper ones that plug in but haven't got around to it...

All you need is a paper clip, straighten out and bend it to a U shape, just so you can push it in to the SCS connector and connect the two terminals.
