Hi BEAT owners, my red BEAT now revs past 5000rpm.
Whats he going about yor saying? This thread is continued from parts for sale/wanted "No:1 cylinder sensor".
The engine was "Detonating" above 5000 due to incorrect timing/out of adjustmrnt dizzy and i had re-fitted the press-fit cog on the end of the camshaft slightly out of position. OOOPS!
Now......the timings spot on,and i filed an extra 3-4mm in the slot of the dizzy to give me the extra adjustment needed for correct timing.O and the engine checklights now gone .Yipeeee.
I've always owned motorcycles, many different makes & models yet this is a car....... and im having so much FUUUUUUUUUUNNNN.
