Has anyone come across the space saver spare not fitting the front hub?
I had a front wheel blow out at Polmassick, just outside the vinyard, and tried to put the space saver on the front and was gobsmacked to find a locater peg for the alloy on the hub and no locater hole in the spacesaver!!!
I had to take the rear wheel off and put it on the front and put the spacesaver on the back and drive home with a 14" and a 13" wheel on the front and a 12" spacesaver and a 14" on the back, The handling was similar to driving a 20yr old fiesta!!!!
Nice bit of design work there from Honda.

You can take the stud out, thats what I gad to do to fit aftermarket alloys.

My new alloys are too big to fit in the space where the spare is, I might have to put it on the roof.

Aye must remember that even though the space is limited I will have to carry more tools than are needed just in case!!!! if you find out what i do for a living you may find your advice is a bit teaching your grandma to suck eggs. all I had on board was a jack and a wheel brace, the locating pegs were removed when i got home and given the wheeeee test.
