Hood Catch - Malta

Claudia in Malta has broken the hook on one of her hood clips. She can't get anything like that in Malta. I'm in Japan with Akira at the moment, flying to Oz today, so can't help.

If it's just the hook why doesn't she just have someone make one? It's a bent bit of rod with a thread cut in the straight end, I can't see it being beyond the capabilities of Malta to produce one :confused:

She may find that the hook from a 1990 is vauxhall astra convertible may fit they look the same to me, otherwise should be dead easy to make once the thread is identified.
