How do I replace it?

It's an inner one

saw a thread saying use a micra one but are they ones that are

split and you fit over or is it you have to take the shaft out?

Any advice much appreciated as I'm not the most mechanically

gifted person but will have a go

First take the wheel off.

Then if you take these four bolts off, the driveshaft should swing.

You then should be able to pull it out of the gearbox.

I think there is some sort of a circular clip on the inside of the joint. Once you get that off, just slip on the new boot.

And yes its the same as the micra.

One more question what year micra do I say?

I'm almost sure its a 93-98. I dont think they changed thou, then any year will do, bar the really new one.
