Hi All,

someone has just smashed my windscreen at the weekend and by autowindscreen prices it's going to take a while to sort it.

Would I be better just stripping this car to sell or should I waste money on the windscreen and then put it up for sale?

Not that I want to sway your decision in any way but I've been waiting since the 2nd of April for Autoglass to get me a replacement windscreen!!

Are you saying Autoglass have one but it's expensive or they have told you it will be expensive and you'll have to wait?

hi tim,

i contacted autoglass on the night it happened, (sat just gone) they did'nt have one in stock, but told me that they would order and i would have it 21-28 days max.

the dealer that the car was bought from is still waiting on a part he ordered nov last year.

the windsreen ordered from abroad/fitted from autoglass will cost £424.62 thats discounted with insurance from norwich union.
