Cylinder head

Hi

I was wondering if it is okay to move the beat with the cylinder head off.

We need to move our beat home from the garage - but the cylinder head has been removed - just need to push it about 100m.

As long as the gearbox is in neutral then you shouldn't have any problems.

The engine shouldn't move unless the gearbox is engaged but I'd make a few thin paint marks on things just to make sure nothing has moved slightly whilst you get the car where you want it.

On what I'm up to...
We have had a valve burn out and may have some cam damage -so we are looking for a cylinder head we can simply bolt back on.

We have to move the beat from the garage where it is while we try to source a cylinder head.
