Spent the weekend at Santa Pod attending the 'Redline Rumble' show and rwyb.

The saturday was the rwyb, with £15 for unlimted runs, did 4 runs in total, my fastest run:

Reaction - + .763
60 ft ------ 2.613
330 ft ---- 7.607
1/8 ET --- 11.785
1/8 MPH- 58.59
1000' ET- 15.304
1/4 ET --- 18.464
1/4 MPH- 73.79

Which considering my fastest time last time (with the lamboghini):

Reaction Time - 0.772
60 Ft - 2.577
330 Ft - 7.617
1/8 mile - 11.839
1/8 mph - 58.06
1000' - 15.435
1/4 mile - 18.684
1/4 mph - 71.53

The chip and new exhaust don't seem to have made much difference on the 1/4 mile run... which was a little disapointing...

But I made up for it on the night... when I found out I can drift on grass with ease hee hee... must have been a site seeing a yellow beat and a gold coloured old BMW drifing round each other and a recycle bin hee hee... wish I had pics of that!

Those figures are quite interesting.

When I chipped mine, i definitely found that it pulled better, but i did notice I tended to rev it a bit more, but this seemed to slow the 0-60 down.

I wonder if we are going too far over the peak of the curve? Especially if its pulling better low down?

At what RPM were you changing? I bet its easy to try and squeeze a few more revs out of it when your racing rather than reaching for the gears.

I changed dead on the redline, so 8,500rpm

OZ!!??

Where is peak power once we have chipped?

(i'm sure ozsamuri will know!)

Otherwise, we will have to have a rolling road day!
