View Full Version : Scrapping a yellow beat

If I were to scrap a yellow beat, who would definitely want what (and top price they would pay for that part)
We have an owner with a couple of beats, but the body work isn't great on it one of them, however the other one has a dodgy engine (only revs to 6k and poor idle)
Come on folks, what bits you lot after?

I would say a drivers door but how money is at the moment, I can't afford one...:explode:

I'd be interested in either (or all):
The passenger side wing mirror
Interior light
Possibly the roof as mine has seen better days, but not urgent.
As for price i'm clueless... would like to see condition of items before I comit my pennies...

Hmmm, another idea....
Would someone be prepared to swap an engine from one beat to another (and maybe an exhaust system) in return for a fairly tatty yellow beat (now with a grumbling engine)
This would leave her with a good beat, and leave you with a 'doer upper' or a large ammount of spares!

a friend of mine is looking for a BEAT in Germany to take it to Norway. Let us know how much it is complete. I think it is the better way than to cut the car in pieces and we infect a new country with the BEAT.

Is the exhaust (back box only) any good and how quick could it be sent to me should the price be a good one? :bounce:

I'm not sure if the owner of this beat is scrapping it or repairing it.
Has she been in touch with anyone? I know matt was supposed to be going to take a look

I'm looking for a new tail pipe for my exhaust, or a complete exhaust. No idea how much to offer.

Hey Gang,
With the amount of interest in this thread maybe the club should consider looking out for and purchasing a Beat specifically to sell all the parts from.
Just a thought
