Hi,

It's Ok to have 14" wheels on the front as long as the offset is right and you have 165/60/14 tyres on them.

Dont know the correct offset, sorry.

I think the front offset is et35 and the rear is et45

Its OK to have the same offset front and rear but the fronts require a 3mm spacer. Its cheaper to buy 4 alloys the same and some dealers will not split a set of 4 so you will probably have to buy a set of 4 the same offset anyway.

Hi all,
I'm a bit of a newbi here, don't even own a beat yey:( but I'm confused on this thread.

Front wheels should be 155/65 R13 this gives a wheel diameter of 533.5mm.

This is the figure you need to get regardless of wheel rim size so a 14in rim needs a tyre profile of around 88mm. This is an awkward size, a 175/50 R14 gives 87.5mm but may be too wide for the rim.
A 165/55 R14 will give 539mm overall wheel diameter.

All that being said I don't know what the "offset" thing is about. Offset what?

The problem with any of this is the insurance company. Remember that question "Have you modified the vehicle in any way?"

Hoping to be an owner soon
