Recently John wrote a quick mail to these people asking if they could source an exhaust. All he got in reply was abuse. When he called them, all he got was more abuse. Not nice!
I wrote to them myself and got the response below. Whilst I can understand that this guy gets a load of mail every day, and it does state on his website (under construction - still) that he doesnt supply parts, I dont feel its any excuse for this sort of behavior. He basically says at the end of his mail that I can remove the link but its unlikely to affect his buisness. Whilst this is true, I wonder if I were to post a similar message on SCORE (cappo owners club), Honda owners group, FTO owners, jap import bulletin boards etc wether this may change his view of us 'ignorant twits'. What do you folks reckon??
Here comes the mail..........

Dear Anonymous,
Of course I have an idea why, it was me and I always know what I am
doing - or I like to think that I do.
The link that he followed, the index page, read as follows:
************************************************** ***********************
Once again I would point out that I seldom reply to any mail that does
not address me by name and virtually never to one that starts ‘Hi’
or the famous ‘Dear Sir/Madam’. This is not arrogance, it is
because I want you to read what is here and you will find my name in one
place only on the site. You cannot imagine how many e-mails we receive
asking questions that are already answered in these few pages and, if
you don’t want to read the contents, well………………..
************************************************** ***********************
followed by:
************************************************** ***********************
Please remember that we do not sell parts, apart from the SVA things, so
if you want car covers, spare wheel covers, cam belts, engines,
gearboxes or any of the thousands of parts that we have been asked for
over the years – please pick up the Exchange and Mart!
************************************************** ***********************
So your member addresses me as 'Hi' and asks me if I can get him a Beat
Exhaust. If he can't be bothered to read the first page then he will
get as much abuse as I can lay on him, as simple as that, as he is an
ill-mannered twit.
Incidentally, I would not answer you either as you cannot even sign your
name. I only reply to make my point but if you want to carry this
correspondence any further you will have to:
1. Address me properly.
2. Sign yourself properly.
If we disagree on the fundamentals of the above then I can only suggest
that you remove the link to my site; I do not object, especially, to it
being there but neither was I asked if you could do it and I doubt if it
will affect our business one way or the other.
