Idle?

Hey everyone

I just changed my fuel filter and since have noticed that after reving the engine it will idle at 800rpm for say ten seconds then rise slowly to 1200rpm. Is this normal? I also noticed a hose that originates from the top of the gearbox housing going nowhere.

Any thoughts

The hose from the top of the gearbox is the breather, and should loop round and be clipped to the bracket on the side of the gearbox.

That idles does not sound a problem.

I noticed a clip sitting a little higher up so I will put the hose in there.
