IAC Rattle?

Hi All!

My Cappo has a ticking noise when the car is idling, I have been lead to believe its a fault with the air idle control valve....Has anyone fixed this problem without replacing it? if so how?

Here is something I found.

"Setting the idle air valve duty cycle is a useful exercise, and as the engine/throttle body etc get deposits built up over the miles it will inevitably drift away from the correct setting and you can get stalling or noise from the valve"

So take it apart and get cleaning :)
